The second volume in a series of drone studies, this release was timed to coincide with Donald Trump's inauguration, to act as an ambient salve.
"Browsing the Blues" was originally conceived for an exhibition curated by Filippo Lorenzin for arebyte gallery. The work was created by recording the electromagnetic output of my iPhone while I browsed the device, combined with the audio from an analog drone synthesizer (Electrofaustus' "Drone Thing").
"An Endless Night in Tunisia" uses samples from various recordings of "A Night in Tunisia" from different eras, to create an audio collage and homage.
"20161218" was created with a since-forgotten sample from vinyl to an AKAI MPC2000XL, with further effects added GRM Tools.
"lightsail" was recorded live entirely using samples from the test record for the NAD 5120 turntable.
